When buying tea, however, \u201cmade by a Wuyi company\u201d and \u201cgrown in Tongmu\u201d are different claims. Small-area claims need a producer&#x27;s explanation and traceable batch information. Sellers may use it for small-leaf black tea made outside the claimed original area. The term alone does not describe every detail of quality or establish one universal boundary. Read the actual origin statement rather than filling in missing information yourself.<\/p>\n<p>Tea grown outside Tongmu can still make an enjoyable cup. Leaf size, bulk, smoke persistence and the color of the infusion vary with picking, processing and brewing. Two photographs cannot authenticate an origin.
