विवरण
Tianzhihong 1915 Gold Medal Commemorative Keemun Gongfu Black Tea is a spring-picked black tea from Huangshan, Anhui, China. This Premium Grade (Te Ji) selection comes as 80 g of loose tea in a red tin.
Keemun is the traditional English name for Qimen. “1915 Gold Medal Commemorative” identifies this product series; it does not mean the tea was harvested in 1915. Check the package for the actual production date and batch.

A full cup with a ripe-fruit character
The supplied tasting notes describe tightly formed, dark leaves with visible golden tips, a pronounced ripe-fruit aroma and a full taste with a sweet finish. The infusion is bright reddish amber; the opened leaves are soft and copper brown.

A white porcelain cup makes the liquor easier to see. Strength and color will change with the amount of leaf, your water and the time you leave the tea to steep.

Spring tea from Qimen’s home region
The stated origin is Huangshan, Anhui. The product specifications identify fresh leaves of the Qimen Zhuyezhong tea cultivar and a spring picking season. The landscape photograph introduces the regional setting shown in Tianzhihong’s brand materials.

What gongfu means in this tea
Here, gongfu refers to the tea-making style. The supplied craft account describes careful refining, including working tea in cloth bags to shorten and straighten the strips. This helps explain the fine, relatively short leaf shape, rather than the rounded granules associated with CTC tea.
Tianzhihong and the craft behind the brand
Tianzhihong is a brand of Anhui Qimen Black Tea Development Co., Ltd., listed in the Ministry of Commerce’s China Time-honored Brand directory.

The portrait shows Wang Chang, whom China’s national heritage database lists as a representative inheritor of Keemun tea-making. The portrait and craft footage introduce the brand’s background, rather than document the production of an individual tin.

The 80 g tin and what is included
You receive one tin containing 80 g (approximately 2.82 oz) of loose tea. The photographs show the red tin and inner pouch. Cups, serving vessels and other scene props are for presentation.

The tin’s stated dimensions are approximately 79 × 79 × 102 mm (3.11 × 3.11 × 4.02 in). The original Chinese packaging print is retained; the product information is provided in English here and in Simplified Chinese on the Chinese page.

Brewing this Keemun tea
The supplied guide recommends warming the vessel, using 2–5 g of tea and 90–95°C (194–203°F) water. For a 150 mL gaiwan, start with a short infusion of about 2–5 seconds and pour off promptly. Taste before increasing the steeping time.

For cup brewing, use a removable infuser or another way to separate the leaves from the tea. Leave room below the rim, and adjust the amount of leaf and contact time to your cup and taste. The guide suggests several infusions; the number you enjoy will depend on your brewing method.
Storage and shelf life
Reseal the pouch after use. Keep the tea dry, away from direct light, moisture and strong odors, and store it separately from other tea types.
The stated shelf life is 1,825 days from production. Use the actual production and best-before dates on the package, together with its storage instructions.
