Description
Gong Pai’s Mingqian AAA West Lake Longjing tea gift box pairs a familiar Chinese green tea with thoughtful presentation. The 150 g set holds the tea in individual green mini tins, arranged inside a white box with a green landscape panel and gold lettering.
It is a practical choice for a tea-loving friend, a family visit or your own spring-tea cupboard. You can open the tins one at a time while keeping the remaining portions separate.

- Individual mini tins for opening and sharing in smaller portions.
- A white-and-green presentation box with gold details and a Chinese landscape motif.

A closer look at the gift set
The short product film moves from the closed box to the mini tins and a brewing sequence, so you can see how the set looks beyond a single photograph. The original Chinese lettering is part of the real packaging.

The tea: Mingqian West Lake Longjing
This is West Lake Longjing, also called Dragonwell, from Hangzhou in Zhejiang, China. The tea is marked as Mingqian: picked before the Qingming festival. Pan-fired green tea processing gives the leaves their characteristic flat appearance.
The product photographs show neatly formed dry leaves, a pale green infusion and the opened leaf. The tea is described as fresh and gently sweet; water temperature, leaf quantity and steeping time will all shape the cup you brew.

AAA is the grade marked for this product. Grading terms vary between makers, so consider the origin, picking period and leaf details alongside the label. For more on spring picking, read our Mingqian and Yuqian Longjing guide. Production and batch dates should be checked on the pack.
Gong Pai and its Hangzhou tea-making background
Gong Pai (贡牌) is the brand on the box. The named producer is Hangzhou Xihu Longjing Tea Co., Ltd., in Hangzhou, China. Gong Pai’s brand story features the Qi family’s tea-making tradition and Qi Yingjie.
The garden, fresh-leaf, portrait and company photographs below introduce that background. They are brand photographs rather than a production record for a particular batch.

Brewing your first cup
Start with 2.5–3 g of leaves and 150–200 mL of water at around 80–85°C (176–185°F). Try a first infusion of 1–2 minutes, taste, then adjust to your preference. A clear glass lets you watch the leaves open; porcelain works well if you like to pour the tea off the leaves.
See our Longjing brewing guide for more ways to adjust strength and keep the cup fresh-tasting.
Storage and shelf life
Keep the tea sealed, cool and dry, away from light, moisture and strong odors. If you refrigerate it, let the unopened tin return to room temperature before lifting the lid. The specified shelf life is 540 days from production; check the actual production and best-before dates on the pack.
