Blue and White Osmanthus and Jade Rabbit Teacup
A rabbit rests beneath flowering osmanthus branches on this hand-painted Jingdezhen porcelain teacup. Soft blue shading gives its rounded body depth, while darker lines pick out the ears, eye and surrounding foliage. A small butterfly and fine plant details complete the scene. Around the other side, scattered branches and blossoms leave more of the pale glazed surface visible.
The cup is handmade, decorated in blue and white and wood-fired. Its approximate capacity is 70 mL at an 80–90% fill, and the retail price is US$350. This listing includes one teacup. Trays, serving pitchers and other accessories in the photographs are display props. The hand-held front view is the first image in the gallery.
Osmanthus and the Jade Rabbit
The source design explanation brings together osmanthus and the Jade Rabbit as an auspicious pairing. The rabbit gives the decoration its focal point, while the spreading branches frame it without filling every part of the cup. The fine leaves, blossoms and varied blue tones create a quiet, detailed scene intended to be enjoyed at close range.

Small Yashou Form
The small yashou form has a wide opening, gently curved walls and a raised circular foot. Its rim opens slightly outwards, framing the pale interior. The hand-held gallery photographs show the scale of the cup and how the compact bowl rests in the hand. The body is porcelain; Jade Rabbit is the name of the painted subject.

Painted Underside Mark
The gallery includes the complete underside photograph, and the close-up below shows the painted mark within the foot ring. Both are retained from the supplied product photographs. No individual artist is identified in the product materials, so the piece is presented through its design, handwork and workshop context.

Tea in the Cup
The open interior makes the colour of the tea easy to see against the pale glaze. The overhead and serving views show the cup with tea, including the small central flower visible through the liquor. The capacity follows the supplied specification at an 80–90% fill; it is not a brimful measurement. Handle the cup carefully when serving hot tea.

Hand Painting and the Traditional Wood Kiln
The blue and white scene combines fine outlines with softer areas of blue shading. The close-up photographs show how the brushwork changes between the rabbit, blossoms and branches. Hand forming and painting can produce small differences between individual cups, while firing contributes to variations in glaze texture and colour.

The workshop images document the firing setting associated with the collection. They show the preparation of wood, the kiln fire and a craftsman tending the firing. These photographs provide context for the porcelain-making process rather than identifying the cup with an unnamed individual artist.

Capacity and dimensions are approximate. Handmade work and measurement methods can introduce slight variation. Lighting and screen settings also affect the appearance of the blue and white glaze. Refer to the photographs for the overall design, painted details and shape.
Use and Care
Rinse before first use. Let the cup cool before washing, then clean gently with a soft sponge and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and dry before storage. Avoid abrasive cleaners, sudden temperature changes and knocks against the rim or foot. Regular gentle cleaning helps prevent tea residue from building up on the glaze.
