Falangcai Autumn Mountain Retreat Porcelain Teacup
A miniature mountain retreat unfolds around this hand-painted porcelain teacup from Jingdezhen, Jiangxi, China. Layered rocks, green trees and orange-roofed pavilions create a landscape that changes as the cup turns. Fine lines define the near rocks and architecture, while lighter mountains recede into a misty background.
The cup is handmade and decorated in the falangcai enamel style identified in the supplied product materials. It has an approximate capacity of 100 mL and a retail price of US$1,180. One teacup is included. Pitchers, tea trays, stands and other objects in the photographs are display accessories.
Landscape Painting and Cup Form
The name Autumn Mountain Retreat describes the quiet setting of pavilions among trees and mountains. Close inspection reveals individual branches, roof details and textured rock faces. Restrained green, brown and grey tones are enlivened by the warm roofs and small figure in the scene.
The flared rim opens above a narrower base, giving the painting a gently curved surface. The studio and table views show the complete proportions, while the close-up photograph makes the brushwork easier to examine.

Rim, Interior and Foot
The pale glazed interior contrasts with the painted exterior. A low circular foot supports the bowl, with the landscape continuing close to the base. The top gallery includes a direct photograph of the underside mark, preserving it as part of the original object.

At the Tea Table
The open shape allows the colour of the tea to remain visible. The pouring and filled-cup photographs show the teacup in use, alongside the proportions visible in the hand-held gallery views. Leave room below the rim for comfortable handling.
