A Millefleurs Teacup with a Red Floral Accent
This hand-painted millefleurs teacup brings a dense field of blue flowers to a small, rounded bowl. Red outlined blossoms stand out among the blue petals and leaves, with another floral medallion waiting inside the cup. The decoration rewards a closer look: fine lines, dotted centres and soft blue shading give each part of the pattern its own texture.
Handmade in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi, China, the cup uses a ceramic body described in the product materials as laotaoni clay. Its pale grey-green crackle glaze and warm brown rim soften the contrast between the blue painting and red accents. Capacity is approximately 130 mL, and the retail price is US$150 for one teacup. Pitchers, trays, books and other accessories in the photographs are styling props.

Flowers Around the Bowl and Inside
The all-over floral design continues around the curved walls. Larger blossoms sit among smaller flowers and leaves, while the red accents create a focal point without interrupting the pattern. Inside, a circular floral medallion repeats the colour pairing beneath a broad band of pale glaze. As the tea level falls, the painted centre becomes easier to see.

Crackle Glaze, Rim and Foot
A network of fine crackle lines crosses the pale glaze, visible on the inner walls, foot and base. The warm brown edge frames the opening, while the raised foot lifts the bowl slightly above the table. Small differences in brushwork, glaze texture and firing colour are part of the appearance of handmade pieces; the photographs show the supplied example.

Original Painted Base Mark
The complete underside is included in the switchable gallery. The close-up below shows the original blue painted mark within the foot ring, surrounded by the same crackled glaze. It is preserved as a photographic detail of the piece.

Hand Painting and Wood Firing
The product description identifies hand-painted underglaze decoration and wood firing. The supplied workshop photographs illustrate ceramic shaping, brush decoration and a traditional kiln setting with stacked saggars. No individual maker is named in the materials, so these images provide workshop context.

Workshop Video: Painting a Ceramic Blank
This 20-second silent excerpt from the supplied workshop video shows floral decoration being applied by hand to an unfired ceramic blank. It is a process reference accompanying the product photographs.
At the Tea Table

The open bowl suits small pours during a gongfu tea session. Handle it carefully with hot tea, and leave room below the rim when serving. Rinse before first use. After use, wash gently with a soft sponge and mild detergent, rinse well and allow it to dry. Avoid abrasive cleaners, sudden temperature changes and impacts against the rim or foot.
